Enchantments are a powerful resource to boost the power of a weapon. They are usually obtained by deconstructing a rare weapon drop or are bought from a store.
It is important to note that your luck stat boosts your chances of getting a enchantment upon deconstruction.

There are NPCs hidden around Asgodia that sell the Tier based enchants for scraps.
Each one wants you to complete a small challenge to prove your worthiness for their enchants.
